CLC participated in the NASP conference located on Marco Island, Florida. The conference was extremely well attended, with over 900 insurance professionals. In attendance were CLC's Director, Sanja Kraljevic and MB's Associate Jana Smith, who was also a presenter. Her topic was New Developments on Subrogation in Canada.

The Toronto firm members had a super time at Escape Manor. This was a new party theme of Escape Rooms and Axe Throwing.
Oh what fun it is to have a cookie decorating day! Winner was No. 3 (top right).
Ottawa's annual Gingerbread contest turned out four lovely houses and one castle! The winner was No. 5 and No. 1 was runner up.

MB had a social event at the Escape Manor for Clerks and Lawyers. A great night of escaping, relaxing, solving puzzles and throwing axes!
The staff was encouraged to participate in the Raptors' 2019 Championship Parade and then came in for a pizza lunch!
True to the name, with all the snow, it certainly felt like Christmas. Despite the weather, attendance was terrific and it was a wonderful night so camaraderie was great along with the amazing food. A great time was had by all (according to the Thank you emails :)

MB sponsored OIAA's Charity Golf Tournament and MB's Barrie Lawyers attended on August 1st at the Hawk Ridge Golf club in Orillia - This year's charity was Special Olympics Barrie.
On Friday, June 9th, the 19th annual combined McCague Borlack LLP and Canadian Litigation Counsel golf tournament was held at The Club at Bond Head. Perfect weather and great camaraderie were enjoyed by 140 golfers! The event raised close to $3,000 for Darearts and there were two graduates on hand.

Ottawa participated in a Poker Tournament where all proceeds go to winner's choice of charity's - Shannon beat out 21 tables of 6 players each to win the championship trophy! $5000 goes to Sick Kids Foundation.

Fun and crazy things our MB Articling students do for charity for the Daily Bread Charity. Collectively, all of the firms taking part in the endeavour collected a total of $206,218 for the Daily Bread Charity.

The Fourth Annual McCague Borlack Ski Day took place on February 17th at the Alpine Ski Club in Collingwood, ON.
McCague Borlack participates anually in the Ronald McDonald House Charities. For 2011, they helped raise $130,000 for RMHC across Canada.
October 1, 2010 - Ten members of MB participated as JDRF Riders raising over $1000. The event in total raised over two million!
Lawyers, students and clients alike enjoyed the action as Rafael Nadal opened his summer hardcourt campaign and rose to victory as he faced a no-quit Wawrinka from Switzerland.
Cherise Devers came in third in a 100 meter race in 3" heels. This charity event benefited Look Good Feel Better - helping women with cancer
