Maxwell’s litigation practice consists of general civil and commercial litigation. He has a demonstrated interest in the intersection of law and technology. Despite Maxwell's young career, he has already appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court, and the American Veterans Board of Appeals.
In law school, Maxwell engaged extensively in written and oral advocacy, both competitive, consultative, and representative. Maxwell worked with a Small Claims Court Judge and two District Court Judges throughout law school, assisting them with their duties. He also assisted several Veterans in filing appeals for benefits through the University of Detroit Mercy’s Veterans Legal Clinic. He appeared before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals to pursue these claims. His dedication and success with the Clinic resulted in him representing his school at the National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition. His academic success similarly resulted in his selection to represent the University of Windsor in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the oldest and largest global moot court competition.
Maxwell enjoys leveraging his competitive spirit and interest in legal nuance to provide a thorough and detailed approach to all his clients' needs. He understands how technology can be utilized to provide high-quality service while remaining aware of its limitations. His technological proficiency ensures his clients receive efficient and effective legal services.
