Matthew is currently enrolled in the University of Ottawa’s English Common Law Program, where he has been an active participant in moots, and negotiation competitions while also serving as a peer mentor to first-year students. Matthew intends to graduate with a specialization in dispute resolution because of his interests in negotiation, mediation and litigation.
Prior to law school, Matthew double majored in history and political science at McGill University.
Matthew was born and raised in Montreal and is fluent in both French and English.
Outside of academics, Matthew enjoys playing several sports including hockey, baseball, soccer, golf, and football. He currently plays on the University of Ottawa’s Law School Intramural Hockey Team. Before his career in law, Matthew was a hockey referee and travelled all over Quebec to referee games at all levels. During the summer, Matthew loves to travel to play on different golf courses. His recent golf trips include courses in Scotland and Prince Edward Island. Matthew's other interests include playing video and board games with friends and going for walks around the city.
