Annie completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa. During this time, she represented the Association of Women and the Law advocating for gender equality for women in the law. As well, Annie helped organize events to foster supportive environments for peers and the Ottawa community, this included a donation drive of sanitary products for women's shelters. Furthermore, as a member of the Allies in the Law program, Annie mentored incoming students throughout the year. 

Prior to law school, Annie obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a certification in law and social thought at York University's Glendon campus. Also at York University, Annie earned an honours master’s degree in political science. While at York, Annie was part of the student union which advocated for a safe campus environment and held annual meetings to plan and organize events. 

During her free time, Annie enjoys baking cookies, gym workouts, and spending time with friends and family.
